Our Scottish Smoked Whole Kippers are MSC certified, meaning they are sustainably sourced and are of the highest quality. Skin on and bone in, they taste as fresh as the day they were caught.
Supplied as a boxed weight of 2kg of individually quick frozen whole pieces to retain all the goodness and flavour.
FROM FROZEN – Defrost for 24 hours in a refrigerator until thoroughly defrosted throughout.
Microwave: Put on a plate and microwave at 800w for 5 to 6 minutes and allow to stand for a minute. Adjust cooking times based on microwave output.
Grill: Pre-heat grill, place fish on the base of grill pan and grill under a moderate heat for 10-to 12 minutes or until cooked thoroughly.
Cooking times are for guidance only. Ensure the product is piping hot throughout before serving.
