This simple Pan Fried Salmon Fillet recipe will give you bags of mouth watering flavour and really showcase the truly exceptional flavour of our wild caught Faroe Isle salmon fillets.

Pan Fried Salmon Fillet Recipe Ingredients

  • Faroe Isle salmon fillet, as many as you require
  • Salted butter
  • Cracked black pepper
  • Fresh dill (optional)
  • Lemon wedges (optional)

Pan Fried Salmon Fillet Recipe Method

To pan fry melt some salted butter in a frying pan and season with a little cracked black pepper. The fillets will need a reasonable heat to seal the moisture in the fish. The heat can be turned down during cooking if desired.

If cooking from frozen, first part boil the salmon fillets in their bag for 5 to 6 minutes in a pan of boiling water. Then transfer them to your frying pan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes each side.

Otherwise thoroughly defrost the fillets and pan fry them for 4 to 5 minutes each side. Then turn off the heat source and allow the fish to rest for one minute before serving.

Finish off with some fresh dill and lemon wedges as garnish.

Pan Fried Salmon Fillet Recipe Serving Suggestion

Serve with some buttery new potatoes, fresh asparagus or tender stem broccoli or your preferred vegetables.
